(1) Some important post offices are authorized

To the head of the Circle to pay postage in cash from businesses or others who send

a very large number of unregistered packages, at least 500 packages at a time in a large

cities and 250 in small towns.Some Indian post offices in Bombay, Kolkata, Madras, Nagpur and

Delhi is also authorized by the heads of the circles to pay postage and registration fees for

regular registered letter-post items in cash, provided that the sender uses special registered mail items.
